It's true
It's true what they say. Silence is deafing. Sometimes, silence is wonderful. For me the past few days, silence has been painfully quiet.
I commented on FB about this, too. Silence is one of the hardest parts of Quaker worship and is ultimately what drives people away.
ReplyDeleteSometimes, it's what we hear in the silence that's scarypants. And sometimes, it's what we don't hear.
But I do understand, fully and completely, how complex the relationship with silence is.
